The BB2 replaces the squeeze-bulb blower with a 33.6W electronic motor, so a press of the button gives you a constant 80 km/h stream rather than a few weak puffs. That clears dust from a lens, a camera body or a keyboard in one pass.
A dial at the base sets the strength, so you choose a full Turbo blast for gear or a gentler flow for fine work, then keep it going as long as the job takes.

At full power the BB2 pushes air at 80 km/h with 2.7 kPa of wind pressure, around 80% more pressure than a conventional rubber blower. That extra force lifts dust off a wider area and shifts the stubborn particles a hand-pump leaves behind.
More air per pass means fewer passes, so a sensor swab session or a lens clean takes a fraction of the fiddling.

A high-density filter sits over a unidirectional intake, so the air the BB2 draws in is filtered before it reaches your gear. You get a clean, dry stream aimed at the dust rather than a cloud of recirculated grit blown back onto the lens.
The intake is sealed and one-way by design, which keeps loose particles out of the airflow and away from delicate surfaces.

The BB2 runs a 33.6W motor spinning to 30,000 RPM, roughly 51% more motor power than the previous generation. That is the headroom that turns a gentle breeze into an 80 km/h working gust.
It comes up to speed quickly and holds it steady, so the air pressure stays the same from the first second to the last.
An air duct and impeller tuned for efficient airflow.
A 42mm impeller with 20 high-density spiral blades sits inside an air duct shaped using fluid dynamics. The duct reduces wind resistance while lifting wind power, so more of the motor's output reaches the nozzle.
The compact, efficient design is also part of how the BB2 keeps the Silent mode down to a workable 55dB.
A high-CRI light for the spots you cannot see.
A high-CRI light (CRI greater than or equal to 90) sits at the front nozzle and switches on for cleaning in shadow. Accurate colour makes a speck of dust on a dark sensor or in a deep crevice easy to spot.
That means you clean what is actually there, on the underside of a control dial or inside a battery door, rather than guessing in poor light.
A magnetic brush that loosens before it blows.
A magnetic quick-release brush clips onto the nozzle, so you can loosen stubborn particles with the brush and clear them with the air in the same motion. The brush snaps off and on as fast as the job changes.
The included brush handles camera bodies and grips, and the magnetic mount lets you swap brushes for different surfaces by hand.
Three modes, set on a dial.
Turbo gives the full 80 km/h for camera bodies, flashes and grips. Optical eases the flow to a 55 km/h stream tuned for camera sensors, controlled enough for delicate work. Silent drops to a quiet 30 km/h at around 55dB for close work and indoor use.
A Lock setting on the same dial keeps the BB2 from switching on by accident in a bag or pocket.
USB-C charging and a battery that lasts a shoot.
A built-in 650mAh 11.1V (7.2Wh) battery gives around 210 ten-second bursts in Optical mode, which covers a lot of sensor and lens passes across a session. On the quiet Silent setting it stretches to over two hours of running.
Recharge over USB-C from a wall charger or a power bank, and a coloured power indicator shows green above 50%, blue under 50% and red under 10% so you know where you stand.

Is it safe to use near a camera sensor?
Yes. Optical mode is tuned for sensor cleaning, giving a controlled 55 km/h stream of clean, dry, filtered air with no propellant and no liquid spray. The unidirectional filter keeps loose particles out of the airflow, and as with any blower you hold a sensible distance and work in short passes.
How long does a charge last and how do I recharge it?
A full charge gives around 210 ten-second bursts in Optical mode, or up to 15 minutes continuous on Turbo and over two hours on Silent. Recharge over USB-C from a wall charger or a power bank, and the coloured power indicator shows green above 50%, blue under 50% and red under 10%.
Can the brushes be changed for different cleaning jobs?
Yes. The brush mounts magnetically and releases with a quick pull, so you can swap it for a different brush to match the surface, from a camera body to a tighter crevice.
