A full press fires the 5,000-lumen Lumin Shield flood, a wide wall of light at 62,500cd that fills a room, a stairwell or a car park the moment you switch on. It is the broad working beam for close and mid-range tasks, ready in an instant.
A half-press and hold drops into tactical Search, a 3,000-lumen spot pushing 75,700cd out to 550 metres to pick out a figure, a sign or a trail marker across a field. Both beams sit under the same tail button, so you move from flood to throw by feel without scrolling through modes.

Everything runs from one tactical tail button at the rear. A half-press steps through the four brightness levels or holds Search, and a full press switches the light on or off and fires Lumin Shield, so you set the output you want and run it without looking.
Nine UHi 40 MAX LEDs sit behind that button, combining to give you the right beam at the right moment, from a 5-lumen Ultralow for a close task to 5,000 lumens for an emergency, all by feel in one hand.
Rapid Lock keeps it safe in a pocket and ready in a hurry.
Slide the Rapid Lock to set Full Lockout, Half Lockout or unlock the light without diving into a button sequence. Full Lockout disables the light for storage or transport, so 5,000 lumens never wakes up against your leg and drains the battery before you need it.
Half Lockout keeps the light from switching on by accident while leaving Search and flood one press away, so it rides safely in a pocket yet still draws fast when a moment calls for it.

The EDC35 is machined from 7000-series (7075-T6) military-grade aluminium alloy, one of the strongest aluminium alloys available, for a body that takes knocks and keeps its shape on shift after shift.
A 1mm-deep cross-diagonal texture wraps the sides for a secure hold barehanded or in gloves, in the wet or with cold hands. A 550 paracord lanyard and removable deep-carry clip let you stow it deep in a pocket while keeping a fast draw.

The EDC35 is rated IP68 and waterproof to 2 metres, so rain, a splash or a brief dunk in a puddle is a non-event, and it survives a 2-metre drop onto a hard floor. A twist port cover seals the USB-C charging port better than a rubber flap.
Advanced Temperature Regulation eases the high-output modes back as the head warms to protect the LEDs, so the light stays dependable in the heat as well as the wet.
