Can I go straight to the red light instead of cycling through the white modes?
Yes. The red light is on its own control path, so you can switch to it directly to protect your night vision rather than stepping down through every white level first. It offers 5 and 15 lumen levels plus a slow-flashing mode for signalling.
How do I know when the battery is running low?
Four power indicators on the headlamp show the remaining charge at a glance, so you can top up before a shift or a trip rather than being caught out. The included 4,000mAh 18650 recharges over USB-C in about 2 hours.
Can it lock so it stays off inside a bag or tool box?
Yes. A lockout mode disables the buttons so the light stays off in transit, which protects the runtime and avoids heat build-up in a closed bag. You can also unscrew the battery cap for the same effect.
