The Nichia LED does not emit any blue light, which may cause damage to eyes if directly exposed up close.
Specialized Nichia 219B LED - Produces 180 lumens of high CRI light, as well as two dimmer outputs of 45 and 4 lumens. The bright 180 lumen setting is perfect for examining wounds while the faint 4 lumen setting is ideal for inspecting patients' pupils.
Photobiologically Safe - Reduces glare and reveals imperfections when inspecting paint jobs or antique pieces. The reflector and lens are designed to produce an evenly dispersed beam to prevent any hot-spotting that may drown out a crucial detail during an examination or inspection.

Full metal construction - Even the switch is aluminum, so unlike traditional rubber buttons, it will not rip, tear or bloat. The body is made from anodized aluminum alloy. Submerge in alcohol with no damage, allowing it to sterilized before use, or retrieved when dropped into a river.
