Carry it three ways.
Clip the included strap on and the NUP30 rides as a cross-body sling, sitting flat against your hip so a knife, torch and snacks stay within reach on the trail. The strap adjusts in length, so it sits where you want it across the body.
The side MOLLE webbing lets you mount it to a larger pack when you want it out of the way, and the slim 7.5 cm depth means it slips inside a bigger bag as an organiser when you would rather keep small items from drifting to the bottom.
Set the inside up around what you carry.
The main compartment is lined with hook-and-loop, so Nitecore modular inserts press straight in and hold where you put them. Build the layout around your own kit, then change it whenever your load changes. The inserts are sold separately, so you can pick the ones that match your gear and add them when you need them. A separate auxiliary compartment keeps a key clasp and a mesh pocket for the small things you reach for most.
The 600D polyester body shrugs off a sudden shower or a dusty track, and at roughly 190 g it adds organisation to your carry without adding noticeable weight.

How does the NUP30 attach to a backpack?
The pouch has MOLLE webbing on its sides, so you can weave it onto the MOLLE or PALS webbing of a larger pack and keep it fixed in place. When you want to carry it on its own, clip on the included cross-body strap instead.
What fits inside it, and are the modular inserts included?
At 19 x 28.5 x 7.5 cm it suits a set of everyday kit such as a torch, a knife, keys, cards, a power bank and cables, with a key clasp and mesh pocket in the auxiliary compartment for the small items. NUP30 Overall this is a good pouch which I’m using as a EDC sling bag, I'm just a little concerned about the adjustable shoulder strap. The rotatable connector of the strap is all plastic and small as you can see in my submitted photo, I do not care about the rotatable function I just want durability. I have reinforced it with cable ties and it’s good to go.

What is the burn point for this fabric? After I switched off my 4000 lumens and slipped into the bag, it burnt a hole…
This is my second piece since I misplaced the first. I like that it is lightweight and I often use it during my travels.
NUP30 I use it together with my BP18 bag to organize smaller, loose items. Fits comfortably in the bag. I like that I can convert it into a sling bag if I have extra stuff to carry as well.
NUP30 good deal but can be better I like the many loops for me to adjust how i carry the bag but the strap lacks an anti-slip pad or something to hold the bag to a position i like. Especially when i have phone and wallet in it, slacks forward and downward.

NUP30 I keep this in my BP18 to help organize the pack and it works very well. You can also use it as a stand alone sling pack.
NUP30 - MOLLE Utility Pouch Nice and stylish design. Size is just nice. The velcro is also very good quality.
One bag, multiple configurations. Molle system is great and very easy to use and adapt. Pouch is perfect for medium items or multiple sets of cables. I currently use it in 3 different configurations. 1) on its own, medium bag with all the essentials and some extras. Easy to carry, comfortable, big enough but not too much. Casual use, half day out, dog walk, you name it. It just works perfect. 2) combo with the NPP10 (my daily go-to solution for a light day or casual office work, highly mobile, extra light, packs a punch and gives security that all the materials are in place and ready. 3) full rig with the backpack. When the job needs to be done and can't have delays or obstacles of any sort. Heavier solution, since backpack, but infinite potential. This combo is literally a workstation for any use in any condition. With low visual impact and absolute superb space management. Unless you do the same exact job every day, in the same exact place, indoor, with no mobility nor need for packing, you need this bag. Regardless the job (LE/MIL, office jobs, video/photo, editors, professionals, manual workers, students, athletes... ) My personal advice, get two.

Very good EDC pouch or bag This bag is really very useful. You can use it for EDC, can put quite a number of items and if you were a patch collector there's plenty of patch area for you to put your patches infront. You also can add insert in the interior compartment. Even can use it as a sling bag or even connect it to your backpack with the carabiner provided. There's molle at the side too add more attachment. 600D material with water and dust resistant really good quality when you feel it.
