I was looking for a quality mug. This one fits the bill. It is easy to hold and carry. It fits into the cup holder in my car. The lock top means it won't pop open and spill. And it looks good!

Hands down my new favorite tumbler. Sleek and cleaning looking. The seal for the top holds fantastic when closed. I’m not much for coffee but I do love my energy drinks and it keeps em cold for a while.
I have seen the tumbler in ads for the longest time and finally snagged one on sale. I thought the design was great and I didn't have any expectations on the quality but I am truly impressed. The added rubber base is fantastic and easy to remove when trying to clean it. The tapered bottom is great to hold and place in cup holders but it still has a steady base for using the pour over set. The lid springs open so it doesn't flop down when trying to drink. The materials used for the actual lid and spout had a great texture so the drinking experience feels smooth and premium. The semi translucent lid helps you see if there is still liquid in the cup. The added lanyard is also an amazing touch too. I can tell a considerable amount of time and effort went into this tumbler to make it stand out from anything else I have seen or owned. Definitely worth the standard price knowing what I know now.
I have so many tumblers and like most of them so I was hesitant at first to get another one but I really liked what I was seeing and reading in their ads. So, I caved in and ordered one. Wow, the quality is exceptional and by far the best tumbler I've ever owned. Only regret is that I should've ordered the 20 oz!!!
Love the spill proof lid.
I received a 20 oz. tumbler for my birthday and I've used it everyday since then. The total leakproof cap and vault door is fantastic, so is its insulative quality but for me the very best thing is the lanyard. Iʻm recovering from an arm injury and reconstructive surgery so I am primarily using one hand, the left, for carrying most things and the lanyard makes this incredibly easy looping it around my wrist or even just a single finger which allows me to carry other things with the same hand something that was a challenge with other tumblers. Simply the best steel tumbler on the market, you should buy one!

This is a customer service story as much as it is a product review. A few years ago I bought the small grinder that preceded the Java 25. It was great. One morning the small screw that attached the handle fell out and the handle came off. I called support hoping to get a new screw. Instead, I was sent a new Java 25 grinder. It works even better, faster and quieter. I was hoping for a screw and got a new grinder. It almost made me feel guilty, so I bought two Rift tumblers. We already had a cabinet full of travel tumblers and did not need two more. Now we don't need the ones we already had. The Rift tumbler is a great product. It does exactly what they say it will. No leaks, maintains temps, and it's easy to clean and drink out of. The Rift is as good a product as the Java 25, and they are both top shelf. I am a Marketing teacher, currently teaching a class called Services Marketing. This sequence of events has earned a permanent place in my list of great service examples. That list is much shorter than my lists of poor and just mediocre service. VSSL is a company doing things right. Great products backed up by great service. Sure, they are a bit expensive, but I think the quality makes them a bargin.

I had high hopes for this after using other VSSL products and I was not disappointed. Generous 16oz capacity, easy grip, cup holder friendly, and the leakproof lid is everything I ever wanted. That warm golden-orange color feels like an adventure waiting. I use it all the time on the road and winter hikes. It keeps my coffee steaming hot for hours. It’s leakproof, no worries in my backpack, and easy to use and clean. Honestly, I love it.

I just received a rif tumbler as a gift and I love it. The strap is so convenient for carrying, especially if you have many things in your hands. Since it’s leakproof, there’s no need to worry about spills. Finally, the twist-lock lid keeps the mouth piece sanitary in between sips. All in all it’s a wonderful product.
Great seal! Great size for car and the rubber bottom really holds it in place! I love the way the spill proof top goes over the sip attachment. Looks cool too…I get a lot of inquires at the dog park about it.

I was pleasantly surprised. There are so many stainless cups out today, but I appreciate the features the Rift tumbler offers. The strap to hold the cup is so convenient. It makes it easy to strap on or hold without feeling bulky. The textured outside of the tumbler along with the rubber bottom allows for good grip. The spout stays in an open position when not locked, I like that because if the spout is closed, I know it’s locked and won’t spill.
Well designed, and great quality. Rugged enough to handle your everyday on the go adventures. I highly recommend
