The Peak Design Anchor system is an integral part of the PD camera strap range. The Anchor allow any strap to be quickly removed from a camera, accessory or lens when you don't need it, or when you want to swap it for a different strap.
For avid photographers, a default brand-name camera strap can be tedious to mount and remove from your camera. Especially when you're setting your camera on a tripod and would want to do away with the dangling strap that can catch onto things and potentially send your camera to the ground.
The Anchor connectors in Peak Design's quick-release system is the perfect answer to this problem. The Anchors loop onto your camera's strap eyelets and your favourite Peak Design strap can be attached whenever you need it.
