Reach what you need while the pack stays on your back.
An outer compartment with a diagonal zipper opens straight to your phone, wallet and small gear, so you grab and go instead of digging through the main bag. The top compartment has a soft flock liner that protects a phone or sunglasses from scratches.
It is the difference between stopping to unpack and reaching the thing you need on the move, which is what makes the BP23 Pro quick for the daily commute and the airport queue alike.
23 litres, organised into four compartments.
Top, main, outer and front compartments keep work, kit and everyday items separated instead of jumbled in one space. The main compartment carries an internal loop surface for custom inserts and admin panels, and dual side pockets take a bottle or a small tripod.
There is room for a laptop, a change of clothes and a day's gear, with a dedicated place for each so you find it fast. Enough for a long office day, a campus timetable or an overnight trip.
A front compartment that opens flat for easy packing.
The front compartment lays open a full 180° like a clamshell, so you pack and find your gear across the whole space rather than reaching down a narrow opening. A three-way divider splits it into a four-section layout, and a two-way zipper lets you open it from either side.
For a traveller it means laying the pack flat in a hotel room and seeing everything at once. For everyday carry it keeps documents, a tablet and small kit sorted and easy to reach.
Built from 500D CORDURA® to take real use.
The shell is 500D CORDURA® nylon, the fabric trusted on hard-use packs for its resistance to abrasion and tearing, and it dries quickly too. It is water-resistant for light rain and spills, so it shrugs off a passing shower on the walk to the office or a damp morning on the trail, though it is not made for submersion.
Inside, a 400D polyester lining rated to 5kg of tensile strength holds a heavy, full load without straining the seams.
MOLLE-modular and ready to expand.
MOLLE webbing across the front and sides takes pouches, bottle holders and accessories, so you build the pack out for the day's job. A large loop surface on the front holds badges, patches or a reflective strip for visibility on a dark commute.
Multiple grab handles on all four sides and a strap-mounting area round out a pack that adapts from a packed office day to a day on the trail.
A fibreglass stay that keeps its shape under load.
A 3mm-thick internal fibreglass stay runs through the back panel, so the pack holds its form instead of collapsing top to bottom or side to side when it is full or heavily loaded. Your laptop and kit stay upright and protected, and the bag keeps a clean, structured line on your back.
It is the structure that lets the BP23 Pro carry a packed 23L on a longer day without sagging into your spine.
A back panel that breathes under a full load.
The 3D carrying system uses 8mm EVA foam and a honeycomb mesh, with cross-shaped channels that move air across your back. It absorbs shock, eases the weight on your shoulders and wicks away sweat on a warm commute or a climb in the heat.
The shoulder straps are padded and adjust over a wide range, so the pack sits well on a smaller or a larger frame, and stays comfortable for the hours in between.
Travel-ready, with a trolley sleeve and quick-release straps.
A trolley sleeve on the back slides over a suitcase handle, so the BP23 Pro rides on top of your roller through the airport instead of weighing on your shoulder. It makes the pack an easy companion for a business trip or a weekend away.
Quick-release shoulder straps drop the load fast when you need both hands free, then click back on when you are ready to move.
WHY THE BP23 PRO OVER AN ORDINARY DAY PACK
Quick access, not a rummage
The diagonal-zip outer and a 180° clamshell front get you to your gear on the move, where a single top-loader makes you stop and dig.
CORDURA, not thin nylon
500D CORDURA® and a 5kg-rated lining take daily commuting, travel and the outdoors without wearing through.
Holds its shape
A 3mm fibreglass stay keeps the pack structured under a full load, where a soft bag sags into your back and crushes your kit.
Comfortable under load
A ventilated 8mm EVA foam back panel and padded straps carry a full 23L without the sweaty, dead-weight feel of a flat-backed bag.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How well does it hold up in the rain?
The 500D CORDURA® shell is water-resistant, so it protects your gear through light rain and the daily commute. It is built to shrug off a passing shower and spills rather than full submersion, so treat it as water-resistant, not a dry bag. For a heavy downpour, head for cover.
Will it sit comfortably on a larger frame under a full load?
Yes. The shoulder straps adjust over a wide range, and the 8mm EVA foam and honeycomb-mesh back panel cushion and ventilate. A 3mm fibreglass stay keeps the pack from collapsing into your back, so a full, heavy 23L still carries comfortably across the day.
What comes with it?
The pack ships with a retractable keychain that reaches 42.5cm (16.7"), so you clip your keys inside and pull them out without unclipping. Everything else is built in: the MOLLE webbing, loop surface, trolley sleeve and dividers are all part of the pack.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 67 reviews.
Overall, the bag is great and i love the compartment. The draw back is the zipper strap which come off too easily and putting is troublesome. is this a defect?
Organization:Provide multiple compartments with easy access Comfort:Nice design and back feel comfortable Fast delivery, just in two days. Packed well in packaging.
Great bag. Just browse around and find you some hook and loop placards to have almost any type of internal storage that you want. Love the design. Fits what I have been wanting in an EDC/Work bag. Plenty of storage for its size. Nice wide straps that fit very comfortably. For the money it's hard to go wrong here.
Organization:quick access zipper fixable layout Comfort:feels comfortable wearing Durability:material good every use For me I feel a bit too small , pocket not large enough , if have pocket outside the 2 side of bag will be better
I bought this after watching a few YouTube videos on the BP23 and being irritated that there were barely any videos on the BP23 pro. After receiving it, I couldn’t be more pleased after finding out that there are minor differences that made the pro just a bit better than the regular version. It’s extremely comfortable for me because of the strap shape and size but it may feel bulky for someone with a more slender frame. The first thing I noticed about the bag is that it has something in the rear section that is against your back that keeps the bag rigid and upright when you set it down, compared to the regular version than I’ve seen in videos being flopped, bend and folded and stored. Some may want that, but I didn’t.The interior material of the bag is a light grey color compared to the bright orange of the regular BP23 which is the only thing I’d change. There are 2 sectioned pockets behind the Velcro patch in the front section clamshell section that can be accessed from either side with the double zippers on both sides. The laptop sleeve can hold up to a 15” laptop but you may have to roll the top of the bag out of the way to get it out smoothly. There are 2 water bottles sleeves in both sides on the large section of the bag and two mesh pockets in both the front and large sections. All I’d say is if you’re thinking of buying this bag, buy some velcro or molle pouches, dividers or organizers for it to get the most functionality and versatility out of it. As you can see, mine is empty because I didn’t and I probably won’t for a while because as far as my use case, I bring a 1 liter bottle of water, folders, envelopes possibly my laptop and occasionally a change of clothes and a pair of shoes, usually not all at once but as far as that goes, everything fits perfectly for me. If you’re gonna need anything else that needs to be in place when you need it, you’ll definitely need organizers.4 stars because I thought it came with a Velcro patch😤
Lots of compartments and extremely comfortable to carry along. The material on the interior feels a little cheap and can improve a little more. Overall, I’m happy with the bag. 👍
Love this bag pack. Added 2 pocket organiser to keep my belongings. Love the main compartment which
I can put the umbrella and water bottle at the side pocket. Very accessible.
Great backpack for everyday day carry! I love that this isn’t overly tactical looking but still has some molle to attach things when needed.I’ve been using this for a few months now and it has held up fine so far. The material seems to be very high quality. The zippers aren’t YKK but they are metal and feel very durable. I’ve had this pack out in light rain and the waterproof zippers worked as they should. The shoulder straps are very comfortable even with some decent weight in the pack. The adjustable chest strap is a nice added touch. I love the giant loop(hook and loop) panels inside the pack. I bought some panels on Amazon to attach to the hook and loop inside for organization. There are quite a few pockets on this pack which is nice. The ripstop material on the inside is nicer than I expected and should be very durable over time. The only complaint I have with this pack is the water bottle pockets being on the inside. It’s not a huge deal but I feel it makes more sense to have them on the outside for easier access. This is a great backpack for the price, if you’re on the fence I would highly recommend it!
I bought the Nitecore BP23 Pro to compare with a 5.11 Rush 12 2.0 bag. This is to replace my aging Da Kine bag that was purchased before they got bought out by Jansport. The BP23 is solid the 500D cordura is seems very high quality though not as bullet proof feeling as the 1050D of the Rush 12 it’s more than enough for civilian every day carry. The internal gray frabric is also very tough as I heard the original BP23 material on the inside was prone to ripping. The first section surprised me as it has double zippers on each side allowing you to open the section quickly from either side. With the velcro panel on the inside there’s separate side pockets from either side and the panel allows you to attach whatever velcro accessory panel you choose. On the front the sternum strap is adjustable up and down and one good thing is you can remove it completely. The straps are nicely padded without being too bulky.Overall this pack exceeds my expectation. With the price of the Rush 12 going up this is definitely the choice between the two unless you really thrash your bags.
Better than the BP20 I previously bought back in April 2021! Love the layout and the accessibility of the compartments. Great improvements on the padding and the capacity.
This is my 2nd purchase. When my 1st pack that I have been using everyday started to worn internally, I immediately ordered a new one as I am so comfortable with it. Highly recommended. BTW, thanks for the Velcro badge.
Nice bag and good value. Good material and great as a EDC backpack. Can’t wait to test it out. Very good reviews and I totally agree with it. Another great product from Nitecore👍
One of the best backpack I have ever owned. The many compartments and easy access makes it a must have for daily use and travels! Very happy with purchase.
Waterproof and rugged bag. Really spacious for my commuting needs. My laptop, lunchbox and documents. Theres small slots for waterbottle and small umbrella inside the bag. Lots of smaller compartments for small items. Really happy purchase
Perfect for my daily commute, not so bulky when taking public transport compared to my other packs. Great compartments for a mix of things that I need regularly which include tech, indoor and outdoor.
Had the BP23 Quick Access Backpack-23L for a week already. I must say that the backpack feels better and easier on the shoulders. Only drawback is that you really need to think on what sort of accessories holder that is needed. Otherwise it is a great backpack to be carrying for the whole day!
Not going to lie. This is my ideal backpack I had been waiting for. If you need a backpack for work and away for travel trip, it fufilled both 100%. I am in love with the top clam-shell opening for accomaditng packing cubes, and also provide multiple oragainzing compartments at the front for quick access. The top and bottom slots are ingenious design. I am speechless. Interior came with orange fabric makes you find things easily. This kind of design on other popular brands cost you triple. Exterior pockets are great and molle features allow customization. Nitecore is kind enough to throw in the morale patch to give the backpack a signature to it. I added Singapore flag and wore it proudly while travelling oversea. Thank you Nitecore for this perfect backpack.
A right fit to carry all i need for a 4D3N short trip. Comfy on my back even fully loaded. Nice design😁 if added with 2 straps underneath for a yoga mat or bulky item will be great
The internal colours and multiple compartments makes it perfect. Having options to organize my stuff and still never looks bulky even with so many things inside. I like this bag.
The various pockets and access points are well thought out. The back panel and the straps are also on the softer side (which I prefer) as they don't dig into the shoulders. The layout of the front panel rocks!
I have the earlier BP20 & BP18, but so far this is the most versatile backpack from Nitecore. Simply love it, I am using it for work as well leisure. It really can hold many stuffs & various way to carry. It is a must have item!
I really like this bag for EDC as a student. Carries everything I need and nothing I don't. Only downside would be a lack of an exterior water bottle pocket, but that's not an issue due to molle. Great organization, makes it so laptop, charger, mouse, etc all have a place. The zippers are impossibly smooth, maybe more identifiable zippers on the front most flap thing, but that's eh. Only downside was the massive wait for shipping, almost two months until it was delivered.
Amazing bag, but a tad on the small side. They cooked on this product. The pouches and zippers and over all layout are thought out and well designed. The molle attachments are perfect for all of your edc with clips or small molle pouches. Fuzzy side velcro areas on the front pouch and inside give it some extra versatility, the straps are high quality and have amazing cushions as well as the backplate. The backplate is also extremely well designed with ventilation shafts and it really feels sturdy without digging into your contact points. Im fairly tall and slender so the chest strap just kind of dangles, but I imagine for someone with a wider chest would benefit as the concept is to pull the straps together across the chest to spread the load across more surface area and ensure the straps dont slide off. Im in love with this bag. I also purchased the small daypack 1 strap bag with the velcro on the front flap and it holds the majority of my EDC, and comes with molle clips that allow you to attach it to the front of this bag as a stylish and modular compliment to the pack. However the clips seem to be a bit limited on weight on thier own. If you pick up both bags as I did and use the small sling bag as a semi permanent attachment just electrical tape or rubber band the clips underneath if you put any weight into it. I dont have a laptop that will fit but I keep everything I might need while im out in it, and all of my EDC kit in the sling bag. Overall, excellent design and very high quality tactical pack. Its very handsome and I love it. I do wish I had used a protectant spray on it before I started using it. If I ever buy another I would definitely do that to give it some extra sweat and water resistance.
