Nitecore EDC35 - tactical EDC flashlight with UHi LED and Lumin Shield - Nitecore Singapore

A 124mm dual-beam EDC light with a built-in 6,000mAh battery, USB-C quick charge, rapid lock and a proximity sensor, ready for carry on or off duty.

  • 5,000-lumen Lumin Shield flood at 62,500cd, lighting a whole scene at once

  • Nine-core UHi 40 MAX LEDs with four steady brightness levels
  • Built-in 6,000mAh battery, full USB-C charge in about 3 hours 30 minutes
  • Rapid Lock with full and half lockout for safe pocket carry and quick access
  • Proximity sensor steps output down to guard pockets and gear against burns

Nitecore EDC35 - 3000 lumen Search spot reaching 550 metres - Nitecore Singapore

Two beams, one button: a wall of light or real reach.

A full press fires the 5,000-lumen Lumin Shield flood, a wide wall of light at 62,500cd that fills a room, a stairwell or a car park the moment you switch on. It is the broad working beam for close and mid-range tasks, ready in an instant.

A half-press and hold drops into tactical Search, a 3,000-lumen spot pushing 75,700cd out to 550 metres to pick out a figure, a sign or a trail marker across a field. Both beams sit under the same tail button, so you move from flood to throw by feel without scrolling through modes.

Nitecore EDC35 - intuitive one-handed control with tactical tail button - Nitecore Singapore

One-handed control from a single tactical tail button.

Everything runs from one tactical tail button at the rear. A half-press steps through the four brightness levels or holds Search, and a full press switches the light on or off and fires Lumin Shield, so you set the output you want and run it without looking.

Nine UHi 40 MAX LEDs sit behind that button, combining to give you the right beam at the right moment, from a 5-lumen Ultralow for a close task to 5,000 lumens for an emergency, all by feel in one hand.

Nitecore EDC35 - Rapid Lock with full and half lockout modes - Nitecore Singapore

Rapid Lock keeps it safe in a pocket and ready in a hurry.

Slide the Rapid Lock to set Full Lockout, Half Lockout or unlock the light without diving into a button sequence. Full Lockout disables the light for storage or transport, so 5,000 lumens never wakes up against your leg and drains the battery before you need it.

Half Lockout keeps the light from switching on by accident while leaving Search and flood one press away, so it rides safely in a pocket yet still draws fast when a moment calls for it.

Nitecore EDC35 - 7000 series aluminium alloy body with deep textured grip - Nitecore Singapore

A 7000-series alloy body with a grip that holds in gloves.

The EDC35 is machined from 7000-series (7075-T6) military-grade aluminium alloy, one of the strongest aluminium alloys available, for a body that takes knocks and keeps its shape on shift after shift.

A 1mm-deep cross-diagonal texture wraps the sides for a secure hold barehanded or in gloves, in the wet or with cold hands. A 550 paracord lanyard and removable deep-carry clip let you stow it deep in a pocket while keeping a fast draw.

Nitecore EDC35 - IP68 waterproof to 2m and 2 metre impact resistance - Nitecore Singapore

Sealed to IP68 and built to take a 2-metre drop.

The EDC35 is rated IP68 and waterproof to 2 metres, so rain, a splash or a brief dunk in a puddle is a non-event, and it survives a 2-metre drop onto a hard floor. A twist port cover seals the USB-C charging port better than a rubber flap.

Advanced Temperature Regulation eases the high-output modes back as the head warms to protect the LEDs, so the light stays dependable in the heat as well as the wet.

WHY THE EDC35 OVER AN ORDINARY POCKET LIGHT

Flood and throw in one

A 5,000-lumen wide flood and a 550m Search spot from nine LEDs, where most pocket lights give you one or the other.

Genuinely pocket-safe

Rapid Lock and a proximity sensor stop accidental activation and burns, so 5,000 lumens rides in a pocket without worry.

Days of runtime built in

A 6,000mAh battery gives 40 hours on Low and 90 on Ultralow, then recharges over the same USB-C as your phone.

Built to be soaked and dropped

IP68 sealing to 2m and a 2-metre impact rating, where a typical EDC torch handles only a splash.

WHO CARRIES THE EDC35

Everyday Carry

Rapid Lock and a proximity sensor make it genuinely pocket-safe, and the clip and 124mm body carry comfortably all day.

First Response & Duty

The 5,000-lumen flood lights a whole room or scene, and the 3,000-lumen spot throws 550m for identification at distance.

Work & Trades

A wide flood for close work, USB-C recharge on site and IP68 sealing that shrugs off wet and dusty jobs.

Outdoors & Emergency

90 hours on Ultralow, a built-in 6,000mAh battery and an IP68, 2m-drop build for the trail or a power cut.

MAKE IT A COMPLETE GRAB-AND-GO KIT

The EDC35 keeps you from being caught in the dark. The NB Air 5,000mAh power bank keeps you from being caught dead. We have paired them so the same USB-C cable that charges your light also tops up your phone, GPS or headlamp, and the whole kit drops into a pocket.

Both the EDC35 and the NB Air charge over USB-C, so there is nothing extra to pack. It is the EDC, work and emergency kit you grab on the way out the door: light when you need to see, power when your phone runs flat.

Nitecore NB Air - 89g carbon fibre 5000mAh power bank built to move - Nitecore Singapore

The NB Air: an 89g power bank you forget is there.

At just 89g the NB Air is one of the lightest 5,000mAh power banks you can carry, with a carbon-fibre and composite body that shrugs off the knocks of a pack or pocket. It runs 18W two-way USB-C charging over PD and QC 3.0, tops up a phone about 1.9 times, and it is IPX7 rated, so rain or a splash is no problem.

  • 5,000mAh / 19.4Wh for about 1.9 phone charges
  • 18W two-way USB-C with PD and QC 3.0
  • Carbon-fibre body at 89g, light enough to forget
  • IPX7 waterproof against rain and splashes

One small cell that keeps your phone, GPS or headlamp alive on a long day out, charged from the same USB-C cable as the light.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the EDC35 battery replaceable, and how does it charge?

The 6,000mAh battery is built in and recharges through the onboard USB-C port behind a twist cover, so there are no cells to swap. A full charge takes about 3 hours 30 minutes, topped up the same way you charge a phone.

Does the EDC35 hold 5,000 lumens the whole time?

The 5,000-lumen Lumin Shield flood and 3,000-lumen Search spot are high-output modes that step down as the head warms to protect the LEDs. For sustained work, High holds 1,300 lumens for around 4 hours 45 minutes.

Is the bundle cheaper than buying the EDC35 and NB Air separately?

Yes. On their own the EDC35 is $179 and the NB Air is $79, which is $258 together. As a bundle they are $189, so you save $69, around 27%, and you get a complete light-and-power kit in one box.

Customer photo review of EDC35 - 5000 lumens

How anyone can give this a bad review is beyond me! It is the IDEAL tactical light.1. First of all, USING YOUR GUNLIGHT TO ILLUMINATE A ROOM WILL GET YOU AN AGGRRAVATED ASSAULT CHARGE!!2. Therefore, you must carry a separate light.3. You want INSTANT ON, INSTANT OFF -that is EXACTLY what this does, 4. (1). PRESS & RELEASE = Normal constant illumination; PRESS & RELEASE AGAIN= OFF. (2). PRESS AND **HOLD** WHETHER ON OR OFF = BLINDING LIGHT! Blinded me for several seconds with lingering impaired vision.5. PRESS & HOLD CONSTANTLY (SUPER BRIGHT) is not normally of any tactical value, you want to blind them, turn off and MOVE. HOWEVER, this model will heat up to about 120 F at the tip, and combined with the serrated tip provides EXCELLENT PAIN COMPLIANCE.6. This is an EXCELLENT choice for those who don't or won't carry guns. The clip makes it easy to carry and it is big enough to grip with an XL hand and depress the thumb button as needed.7. ANOTHER use of tactical lights is to BLIND them then THROW the object at their FACE and RUN. Once they realize they've inherited an excellent tactical light and are seriously injured, they call it a day...8. Practice sprinting up a hill to keep your RUN-FU sharp and ready.9. Combined w/pepper spray, it is a 1-2 punch legal in all states.10. Here is a BLIND and RUN, Or, BLIND and SPRAY and RUN!Love this light!

Customer photo review of EDC35 - 5000 lumens

I've had this flashlight for about a year now, and despite owning many flashlights, this is the one I choose to use daily as a delivery driver. This light provides a good mix of features including compact size, quick access to functions and brightness levels, and very good battery life. Not to mention, it can put out a prodigious amount of light for its size.Initially I thought the UI would be annoying but I actually like it a lot. You have one button that you either half press or full press. Full press turns it on or off, half press cycles through brightness levels. Half press and hold activates the "search" mode, and full press and hold activates "Lumen Shield" aka turbo mode. It cycles brightness levels as fast as you can click the button, unlike other flashlights where you have to hold the button and wait for it to cycle, which I hate. No double clicks to activate either of the two turbo modes. The button has just the right amount of clickiness and resistance so you aren't going to accidentally full press when you meant to half press or vice versa. You've got four brightness levels plus the two turbo modes. The first three use the center LED and the last one lights up the tiny UHi LEDs around the center, brightening up the spill considerably. Search mode overdrives the center LED and turns this thing into a powerful spotlight with some incredible range. This is why I bought it and it's my favorite feature. Great for quickly lighting up address numbers or other distant objects at night. "Lumen Shield" lights up all the LEDs. You lose a bit of throw in exchange for 5000 lumens of light being dumped on your surroundings. I use this to quickly light up entire properties or dark areas. These modes are meant to be used momentarily, as they will heat up the light and drain the battery pretty fast. Now this isn't high CRI. The light has a noticeable green tint to it at lower levels. It works for my purposes though. As long as you are only using the turbo modes sparingly, the battery lasts a very long time. I think I've charged this light three times in the year that I've owned it, and I use it daily. It charges via a USB C port on the bottom of the light. A rotating cover protects this port while not in use. A quick half press of the button shows you the charge level using four small green LEDs. These also display constantly while the light is on. A removable battery would be nice though. The flashlight itself seems well built. It's heavier than it looks and feels good in the hand. It's very grippy. It certainly feels like it will be durable, but I haven't really beat it up that much yet. I do have another Nitecore light, a CU6, which I dropped onto concrete countless times and even accidentally ran it over with a car. That light held up fine so I'm hoping this one does as well. It's the size of the light though that really does it for me. It's small enough to carry in a pocket and yet it can blast out more light than something three times its size. I also like the styling a lot.It would be nice if we had the option to use the UHi LEDs in all modes so we could have an even flood beam. Also if they offered a high CRI version I would have gotten that instead. There is no strobe mode on this light but I've never used that feature anyway. Other functions include a manual lock out switch and a proximity sensor to keep it from setting things on fire if it accidentally gets turned on in a pocket. All in all, I am definitely happy with it. Very small, versatile, very quick to use, incredibly bright, and very long battery life. All of what you want in a flashlight of this type. Buy it.

EDC35 - 5000 lumens

Customer photo review of EDC35 - 5000 lumens

For the average user, this light provides more feature/power than you'll most likely ever need. For the true aficianado, there will never be a perfect product. In my search for a true quality product, I read countless reviews in which I began to see parallels to the cellphone market; products have become so well-built that reviewers have to nitpick the hell out of every feature to find things they don't like... reviews on this light were very similar... so many reviewers opined that the product was 'so close to being perfect' if only for this or that smal annoyance. I decided to make the purchase and after several days, have to admit I am truly satisfied. The light is amazingly well-engineered. The fact that the charging port is covered adjacent to the lock feature shows care and aforethought in the design. The carry pouch is similarly well-built, rugged, and functional. A light this powerful and small does generate alot of heat on max power, so take care to hold the light at the rear when using this feature as things get toasty very quickly. For those complaining about the functionality of the main button/syncing the flash patterns/memory, there is a very-easy to understand manual included with the light which explains exactly how things function. We all like to be intuitive and figure things out on our own and when we run into issues trying to quickly figure things out, we issue complaints... read the manual and practice a bit. This is a $90 flashlight and not some cheap knockoff... it was designed with some thought that translates into certain complexities that in the end, you might appreciate.Very satisfied with this. My first night out on a 5 mile evening hike with it, one of my black earbuds fell out and rolled partway down an incline. I was able to find it in seconds with this thing due to the massive coverage its beam provides. This light continues to serve me well... multiple use stories in the last year... no dropoff from the massive battery on board which many hard core users complained about and guarunteed me I would regret (not having the ability to change batteries). This has been a complete non issue the last year and thing has already paid for itself. Was finishing a large CCTV install for Lolapalooza Chicago 2025 in Grant Park, July/August of this year. The last night before show my partner and I were troubleshooting several of the 60+cameras we installed late in the evening the night before Day1. It was raining steadily and hard... the two of us had split up looking for a long cat 5e Run from the street to a network box that was providing power & thruput to a camera on a pole out on Coluimbus Ave. My partner found the network box and realized the cable had not been terminated / plugged in but he was separated from me by out 100 feet and multiple security fences that had been installed to divide up VIP/GA areas... He was struggling with using his phone as a light while trying to terminate the cable while using a Wilscott Trailer as cover from the rain. I climbed up on a fence and got a visual on him and took out my EDC35 and called out that I was going to light things up for him. He yelled back "No that's OK!" just as I hit the 1200 lumen beam setting from about 100 feet. Instantly his work area was brilliantly lit up with plenty of light... He immediately yelled back "disregard-hold that-that's PERFECT" so I held it for a couple of minutes while finished up. When we reunited a few minutes later his comment was "Holy Cow I need me one of those"

Customer photo review of EDC35 - 5000 lumens

This light surprised me with how bright it really is for the size of the light. The battery is still showing above 75% from the 10-15 minutes I have played with it so no complaints there. The only gripe I have with the light is to activate the search/spotlight mode and the “Lumin Shield” mode, holding the button for these modes can sometimes be a bit touchy and that was what was happening in my video when the light dimmed from search and shield. Don’t let that deter you though because with a few minutes of playing with it I found out how to get a consistent hold on these modes so it can be overcome. Also for reference I am a 5’9 210lb man with fairly small hands for my size haha. Thanks to Nitecore for making a great EDC light!!!

Customer photo review of EDC35 - 5000 lumens (Bundle)

i purchased both EDC33 and EDC35. Same operation for both. EDC35 has longer and stronger longer beams of course. However those who need to use the momentarily blinks in quick succession, both are unable to do it. The half press will initiate the search beam mode. U cant do multiple quick half press. That is the only let down for me. BUTTTT!!! EDC33 is always with me. It gives me a sense of safety. EDC 33 is small, palm size, SUN!!!. The Lumen Shield will stops anybody in his track. When they cant see you They cant attack you EDC35 is best for police officers, security officers and military officers. Those who need a longer runtime and brighter light. I use to carry two light, one is the P20ix 4000 lumen for its wide beam, and MH12Pro for its distance. Now i bring only one the EDC35. it covers all!!!! The battery indicator is a plus point. You dont have to worry about how many juice it has in it anymore. One look at it and you know when its time to charge this mini sun. The lock button is a godsent. Alot of my pants / pocket was burnt by other nitecore products. The lock ensure my pants is safe and secure hahah. It is a good investment!! You will not regret it!!

EDC35 - 5000 lumens

Really bright light and holds a charge. The instructions could be better.

EDC35 - 5000 lumens

First off no strobe, keep scrolling if thats a deal breaker. The brightness for the lumishield is exceptional, spotlight is exceptional too. The heat is a concern but what do you expect for such a small package? Heat is manageable, not to mention it CAN burn stuff…be careful. The charge on it seems it be quite manageable provided you arent toggling the high mode on exclusively. I like the build quality and feel of it. Overall would recommend. Just wish it was like $20 dollars cheaper haha.

Great flashlight. Using it thou does require a learning curve. The button can be tricky to use. Also gets hott pretty quick in your hand.
