Use Instructions
Basic use instructions
Rinse before first use. Unscrew low-profile cap to access large fill opening. Squeeze bottle slightly from the sides to open up the bottle, then fill with any soap or paste. Screw cap on tightly to fully engage seal. Flip cap lid will align with the front of the bottle when properly tightened. Flip lid open to dispense contents. Write in contents on the snap loop with permanent marker.
Cleaning instructions
Wash the bottle by hand only. Fill it with warm water and massage from the outside to clean the bottle. Do not wash the bottles in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Filling your FlatPak™ Bottles
Make sure the lid is screwed on completely after filling. When properly tightened, there will be no obvious gap between the bottle and the low-profile cap. The front of the flip cap should squarely align with the front of the bottle when fully tightened.
Your bottle will work with toothpaste! You can fill the bottle with toothpaste by firmly pressing the opening of the toothpaste tube against the large fill opening of your FlatPak™ Toiletry Bottle to form a seal. While firmly pressing the two ends together, squeeze the toothpaste tube so the contents are transferred into the FlatPak™ bottle.
To fill the bottle with normal fluids (shampoo, body wash, etc.) first unscrew the low-profile cap to access the large fill opening. Then squeeze the fabric bottle from the sides to open up the cavity and and pump, squeeze, or pour the desired contents in through the large fill opening. You may need to shake the contents down to the bottom of the bottle a time or two during filling if the fluid has a high viscosity.
If the bottle still has a little fluid inside that is causing the fabric walls to stick together, simply pinch the fabric on opposing flat sides of the bottle and pull the walls apart to open up the bottle cavity for refilling.
Pumice, exfoliants, and other scrubbing soaps
When using soaps that contain pumice or other granular media, rinse the open lid before snapping it shut. This granular media suspended within the soap can interfere with the snap closure and cause the lid to be difficult to close if not rinsed away first. Forcing the lid closed with pumice or granular media in the closure can damage the lid. This abuse is not covered under warranty.
Put your toiletry bottles in a plastic zipper bag for extra peace-of-mind
Your FlatPak™ toiletry bottles should handle anything that’s thrown at them. They’re made from some of the industry’s most durable materials and construction methods. The lid snap is also engineered to prevent/minimize accidental openings. However, it’s impossible to predict what can happen when you’re on the road. Those baggage handlers can be brutal, bags get run over by airport trucks, or an inspector can open your bottle and not close it back up. Anything can happen, so we recommend you put your toiletry bottles in a plastic zipper bag for that extra bit of insurance.
Chemical Compatibility
We have made extensive efforts to ensure the FlatPak™ bottles are compatible with the vast array of cosmetic creams, pastes, and fluids on the market. While we've tested as much as we can, it's virtually impossible to keep up with the ever-changing array of ingredients, chemicals, and compounds used in cosmetic products. As with all toiletry bottles, there is a chance that an ingredient in one of your cosmetic products could damage the bottle material. Chemicals currently known to damage the bottle include: Ethanol (drinking alcohol)–may be listed in cosmetics as "ethyl alcohol"
Leave No Trace principles
When bathing in the outdoors, please take care to use biodegradable soaps and rinse soapy residue 200 feet from the water source.
BUILT FOR THIS
Carrying less makes for better trips, and the little things add up fast. The FlatPak™ Toiletry Bottles were built with the idea that the bottle should only be as big as the fluid inside. These welded Cordura fabric bottles are several times lighter and smaller than silicone bottles of the same volume.

FAQ
Can I use this to store food or drink products?
We do not certify this bottle to carry food or drink products. Bottles are not compatible with alcohol.
How should I store my bottles between uses?
We suggest cleaning out bottles if they are being stored for several months. Alternatively, store partially filled bottles inside a plastic zipper bag to prevent drying out over extended periods of time.
How do I fill and clean out the bottles?
The flip cap lid unscrews from the bottle. The reverse threaded design gives it a large fill opening. The inside coating of the bottle is easy to clean/rinse.
How do I tell my bottles apart?
There is a write-in section on the hypalon snap loop tail that is compatible with perminant ink.
Does this product have a warranty?
Yes, this product is warrantied for 2 years.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 155 reviews.
Very practical and space saving, it is a great product. I would only add diffetent types of caps (hole sizes or sprayer) for added funcionality.
A little tricky to fill without squeezing out the liquid while capping. I like how packable and how little space they take up.
Practical. I have wanted to get the containers for their size and practicality. I am looking forward to using them on my next trip and on daily basis.
Great quality, and great size.
I love these because I’m very specific about the products I travel with, especially for hair, body care, and skincare. I used them for Fashion Week, Aruba, and our recent Orlando trip, and they made packing toiletries so much easier because they lay flat instead of taking up a ton of space like traditional travel bottles. For Fashion Week, I needed everything to be compact and organized, and for Aruba they were perfect for the extra body care and beach products I wanted to bring. They are lightweight, practical, and they just make your toiletry bag feel more put together.
Wonderful product! Thanks so much!
Fantastic space saving solution and very light. The Matador FlatPak bottles are a fantastic space-saving solution for travelers and backpackers. They fold completely flat when empty and weigh next to nothing. The clever design adapts to the volume of your liquids. I love that it has a strap with a press stud so you can hang it in a shower or over something to be hands free and get your liquids out. Very clever! Overall, if you're counting grams and packing light, these are hard to beat — just maybe keep a spare on hand.
Lightweight, easier to fit toiletries. I like being able to pack my shampoo and conditioner in lightweight and less bulky shape, making it easier to fit in with my toiletries. The main drawback is unscrewing the caps to open up for filling the bottles. The caps were crazy tight and because of the way they are inset in the bottle, very hard to get a good grip for unscrewing them. Otherwise, I like the product so far.
Love these so far, but I've used their similar products so I know it will last me a good year or so. I will say adding the product in for the first time was difficult because the caps are stuck on there. I recommend a rag or cloth to help turn and not damage the cap.
Hard enough to open cap
Great compact size! This worked perfectly for the liquids I needed for travel
Hard to fill, hard to break. They work great They can be difficult to fill completely without the shampoo trying to ooze back out, but they're also really hard to break. I'm hard on my stuff and use my travel containers daily as I often have to shower away from home.
havent used them yet, but the product looks well made
These are great! Lightweight and awesome colors
Easy to fill and really love how little space they take.
Great little bottles, they have gone with me to Europe and camping. Great Bottles the fit perfectly in my hanging toiletry bag. I love the snap loops; there is usually something I can attach them to in the shower. I have never had them leak. The refill very easy if your shampoo or lotion has a pump top. The only issue I have had is, I think they are made from the same fabric as the soap bar bag, because if you leave any product inside between trips, it's going to dry up into a solid mass. I have been able to scrape it out and reconstitute it to the point I can clean it out and refill..... but just a note to use it all up when you get home and then rinse and dry before you store them for you next trip.
My favs but might not be for you. These are my favorite toiletry bottles because they're so lightweight and shrink as you use the product. That being said, I have to rebuy them regularly because the cap breaks or product starts coming out the sides. These work for me because weight is my priority in travel gear but they're not good for you if you want a durable item that last a long time.
Options are good. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash…it’s all covered and fits perfectly in my kit.
These are so well made. I'm fully updating my travel kit!
Love this product and would have given it 5-stars if the writable section on the loop actually worked. Ever permeant marker I have tried rubs right off. Disappointed in that aspect of the product but love everything else.
Minimal and space-saving with one design gripe. These are a great space-saving travel option that scratch the itch for the minimalist traveler. The only gripe I have is that the caps provide little assurance that they are securely closed, especially after a few uses with some shampoo, conditioner, etc. residue leftover in the cap. There's no reassuring "click", so to speak. I haven't noticed leaking yet, though, so the 5 stars stand.
Great. Works great, packs easy
Works great, packs easy
Difficult to fill depending on the source container. Pretty great after you figure that out. I think having some kind of funnel with an easier way to fill would make these perfect.
Well designed and very well made
best customer support rep - her name is Shaira. thank you again for helping me resolve the issues with these. You are very kind, polite and understandable. I hope the rest of your team is like you! Thanks again Shaira
Ultralight Travel Bottles with a Small Refill Quirk. I really like the material and it’s perfect for my travel kit. My only complaint is that it doesn’t mate very well with the opening on the donor bottle, which makes transferring liquids a bit awkward.
I love containers! Easy to fill, mess free and can handle rolling around in my pack on my adventures without leaking.
Love it! Lightweight, easy to refil, no leaks.
I'm giving them four stars because the caps seem like they're going to be an issue at some point. I love the concept, and I have not had one of these blow open on me yet, but they don't close securely enough for me to have the confidence that they are going to hold up for a long time. There needs to be some sort of a snap when they close and there isn't. It's just friction and I don't really trust it.
Great product
Practical and cool. Perfect size and easy to refill
So far so good. These are so slim, it's amazing how much liquid they hold. Great for light packers. Only been on one trip with me so far, as long as they are durable and don't leak or the cap doesn't flip open, I'd recommend them.
Work great. Work perfectly! Let's my wife keep her shampoo, conditioner, and lotion nicely contained for travel w/o the need to tote around large bottles.
My partner loves these. Great sleek fit in her toiletry kit and it takes up way less room than her previous containers
Caps are inconsistent - try and buy in store. Amazing concept that lets you squeeze out every last drop compared to silicone tubes. However, the first set I bought 2 of 3 had caps that won’t snap and will easily open. One snapped shut authoritatively and never pops open. I bought more at at REI so I could try the caps before buying and haven’t had a problem with newer ones opening. I’d estimate 80% were good and 20% had weak caps of the ones on display. Recommended only if you can buy them in store and try them first . Please make a version with a tethered **** cap or a secondary locking mechanism or a twist valve and this would be fixed!
I love to use the FlatPak Toiletry Bottles. They do not leak, and are easy to fill. They are also easy to clean after your trip.
Perfect for travel and camping. The FlatPak bottles work well for travel and camping. At first I was worried that the flip top would pop open, but that has proved not to be a concern. Paired with the soap bag, they keep things clean and well organized.
